Teachers at Louise Troy School use the Effective Teacher Training teaching model to implement the curriculum. In addition to the implementation of the district's basic curriculum as outlined in the district's courses of study, Louise Troy School also implements innovative curricula to support its them-based program by offering the following classes, special study units, clubs, special programs, etc., that emphasize the school's theme:

  • Math/Science Club
  • Media Resource Room
  • Creative Writing
  • Technology Enrichment Classes (CCTM television studio, computer, digital photography, and SchoolNet Internet access in all grade level rooms)
  • Weather station affiliated with a local TV station
  • Homework Hotline
