WHAT: Informal reception honoring outgoing Dayton Public Schools Superintendent Kurt Stanic

INFO: The public is invited to say goodbye to DPS Superintendent Kurt Stanic, who will leave the district after two years of service.
During Stanic’s tenure, the district saw a rise in test scores and attendance rates, along with an expansion of the district’s Positive School Climate program and ongoing success with the new school construction program. He was also instrumental in developing the district’s strategic plan.
Stanic’s last official day with the district is June 30.
