Fairview PreK-8 is one of 26 buildings that are part of the school construction program, and an integral part of the Phoenix Project, a joint collaboration seeking to revitalize the surrounding community. In addition, Fairview is one of 11 new buildings on track to earn LEED Gold certification for environmental awareness in construction.

All district schools are closed Thanksgiving week. Students who attend Dayton Public Schools will enjoy a weeklong break Monday, Nov. 22, through Friday, Nov. 26.
Administrative offices will be open through Wednesday, Nov. 24. and will close Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
