Meadowdale offers Ohio Graduation Test seminars
Meadowdale High School is offering a series of parent seminars for information about the Ohio Graduation Test. Three seminars will be held at Meadowdale High School, 4417 Williamson Dr., from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parents may choose the time that best fits their schedules. The first seminar “Standards-based Education and the Ohio Graduation Test” is scheduled for Tuesday, (Dec. 14) and includes an explanation of standards-based education and No Child Left Behind; differences between the Ohio Graduation Test and the Ohio Proficiency Test, test-taking skills and a sample test for practice. Remaining sessions, offered in 2005, include “Study Skills and Test Taking” Tuesday, Jan. 11, and “Helping Your Child Graduate” Tuesday, Feb. 8.
