Community Access

Dayton Public Schools prides itself on strong community partnerships. We desire to make the process easy for individuals, businesses, non-profits, foundations and governments to partner with us.

Dayton Public Schools has developed a process by which the community can receive approval to partner with us on after-school programs, athletic/sports programs and academic partnerships.

Proposals must meet at least one of the academic non-negotiables we strive to achieve:

  • Kindergarten readiness
  • Third graders reading on grade level
  • Closing the achievement gap
  • High school graduates ready for post secondary opportunities and careers

All requests are to be provided in writing, and are limited to five double-spaced pages. Dayton Public Schools will review the request and notify you of the next level in the process.

If you or your organization is interested in a partnership, please submit your proposal to the below individual at 115 S. Ludlow Street, Dayton, OH  45402. Requests may be submitted by U.S. Mail, drop-off at the Ludlow Administrative building front desk, or via an e-mail attachment (Word format only).
