How Everyday Things are Made
Video of how things are made, such as airplanes, candy, glass bottles, denim.
Videos on careers involved in these processes are also included. Students first
take a short, fun quiz at the beginning to see what they know about how
things are manufactured. Then students write and submit how they think
things are made. They see what other students have written and then see a
short video. Students can also pose questions at the site. Flash player
is required.
Field Museum Expeditions

activities. Students can travel to the bottom of the ocean, discover unknown
tombs in ancient Mexico, see the banding of Peregrine Falcons, learn more
