Message From the Principal
Students and Parents,
Welcome to Thurgood Marshall High School. Our goal at TMHS is to provide effective 21st century instruction, to ensure that each student obtains the critical thinking skills, core concept comprehension, and the experiences necessary to graduate and be successful at the collegiate level or workforce.
We encourage our students to take advantage of the exciting initiatives and activities offered at TMHS. The innovative programs and opportunities provide supplemental resources to curriculum and ultimately, enhance student learning. As we transition to a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics emphasis, we want all students to be challenged and to perform at their highest ability. For this to occur, an emphasis on collaboration, innovation and mastery, are necessary, for students to adapt to a changing world and ultimately take part in shaping it.
Thurgood Marshall High School is truly a unique and special place, Please join us in our mission to “Create a Tradition of Excellence.”
Thank you,
Sharon Goins
