NUTRITION SERVICES


Our vision is to excite students and staff with nutritious and appetizing meals that promote optimal learning and wellness. The Nutrition Services Department participates in the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, After School Care Snack Program and the Summer Food Service Program. We provide services for sixteen elementary schools, three middle schools, six high schools, one special center; and contract meal service to childcare facilities.

Student programs supported by Nutrition Services include the CBIP Program (Career Base Intervention Program), Multi-Cultural Meal Programs, Student Nutrition Education, and Culinary Arts/Food Service Management Program (Ponitz Career Technology).
