Forty-one DPS employees were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty at the January 28th Breakfast of Champions celebration.
The majority of those recognized were teachers who grew more students than expected. These teachers received a “Most Effective” rating on the Ohio Department of Education’s value added list this year.
Breakfast of Champions is a recognition breakfast that honors employees who go above and beyond the call of duty and are committed to serving students. Teachers who are nominated must also show high academic achievement on standardized tests (85% or above proficient on state tests for class scores, or 1.5 years or above in growth on MAP for the full year on the most recent test results available).
Congratulations to all honorees!
