Five students awarded scholarships at Distinguished Males of Color Awards banquet

Alexandra KincaidNews

The first Distinguished Males of Color Awards banquet was held last week. Five students were awarded scholarships for having excellent attendance and grades, and for demonstrating the core values of the Office for Males of Color. These values include integrity, scholarship, honor, and brotherhood.

Speakers at the event reminded students to continue to be good role models for their peers, to continue to work toward academic success, and to be proud of the many accomplishments they have already achieved.

Congratulations to the first students to receive Distinguished Males of Color Awards!
