DPS University
DPS University (DPSU) is an accelerated academic program that supports students in achieving high levels of academic success at Thurgood Marshall STEM High School and Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Students who qualify will begin taking college-level courses in their freshman year of high school. Each year DPSU students will be encouraged to take an increasing number of Sinclair Community College courses through Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program.
These college courses are free to students and families. Students who most successfully move through the DPSU program will have the opportunity to receive an Associate Degree from Sinclair Community College while they are also completing their high school graduation requirements.
First Steps for Participation in DPS University:
- Student and Guardian sign a CCP Intent Form and a Mature Content Form
- Student applies online to Sinclair Community College: www.sinclair.edu
