Versatrans My Stop

Dayton Public Schools Transportation and Fleet Services are pleased to announce a new phone application for parents and guardians of yellow bus riders that will provide detailed information about your student’s bus location.

The Versatrans My Stop app will provide exact pickup and dropoff times, allow you to view where your student’s bus is in near real-time, and send you notifications about delays and other pertinent information. The app communicates directly with the DPS bus routing software, providing more accurate information than the previous app.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have more than one student in the district. How do I look at another student’s bus information?
Click the drop-down arrow next to your student’s name on the Map section to view all students assigned to you. If you do not see your other students listed, please contact DPS Transportation and Fleet Services at 937-542-4010.

Will the pickup and drop-off times still be accurate during early release or late start days?
Yes. The app is directly linked to the DPS bus routing software.

Why am I not receiving notifications?
Users must be logged in to My Stop to receive notifications. Users must turn on “notifications” in the settings app on the phone. Users should close the app when not using it rather than logging out.

Why does the screen say “No Active Route Found”?
When your student’s bus is not currently running, the app will tell you there is no active route found. As soon as the bus is running, you will see the route information.

Does this work for my high school student’s RTA bus?
No. The My Stop app only tracks DPS yellow buses.

Who do I call if I have questions about the app?
Contact DPS Transportation and Fleet Services at 937-542-4010.
