Commencement ceremonies held May 21 and 22 for six DPS high schools

They are mentors, mathematicians, musicians, scholar athletes and community volunteers. They speak many languages, embrace technology, stare down obstacles, ooze with talent, and are ready to take on the next chapter of their lives-enrolling in state and local colleges, universities and post-secondary programs; serving their country; or attending our nation’s top colleges and Ivy League institutions. They are the Dayton Public Schools Class of 2016.
Commencement ceremonies begin May 21, and continue through May 31. There are four commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 21, and two on Sunday, May 22.

The dates are:

May 21        Dunbar Early College High School         Dunbar                        9:00 a.m.
May 21        Thurgood Marshall STEM High School    Thurgood Marshall       11:00 a.m.
May 21        Stivers School for the Arts                      Masonic Center             2:00 p.m.
May 21        Belmont High School                             Belmont                        4:00 p.m.
May 22        Meadowdale High School                        Meadowdale                  1:00 p.m.
May 22        Ponitz Career Technology Center            Masonic Center              3:00 p.m.
May 26        Dayton Business Technology HS*            Convention Center         6:00 p.m.
May 31        Dayton Early College Academy*               Sinclair Bldg. 12            6:00 p.m.
