I am delighted to share my excitement as the new Principal of Wogaman Middle School! Throughout my 20-year career in education with Dayton Public Schools, I have held various roles, such as teacher, literacy specialist, curriculum coach, and most recently, assistant principal. My dedication lies in nurturing students and helping them develop strong leadership and critical thinking skills.
At Wogaman, we value the power of collaboration and family involvement in creating a compassionate and nurturing environment for our students. Our primary focus for the upcoming school year is ensuring all our students excel in their core subjects. We will refine our teaching methods, assess student progress, cultivate a nurturing learning culture, observe classes, and provide additional support when necessary. We will focus on student growth while fostering their ability to collaborate with others.
We are thrilled to continue expanding opportunities for families to gain insight into their children's studies at school and to collaborate with us in promoting ongoing learning at home. We urge parents to stay engaged through our Parent Square notifications, our primary mode of communicating activities and events throughout the school year. Please refer to Parent Square for information and updates.
Please feel free to arrange a meeting at your convenience. Let's collaborate to ensure that this school year is truly outstanding!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Adrienne Jackson, M.Ed., Principal
