Unfortunately, altercations at last night’s City League game resulted in disruptions that required intervention by security personnel before the game could resume. Following our investigation, and after much deliberation with principals, coaches, security personnel, community leaders, and parents, we determined the incident significant enough to enact our new protocol that was shared in early December 2015.

All city league games played on Friday, January 8, will be played with the teams, officials and coaches only. (No spectators.) This is only for this Friday’s games, which are: Dunbar at Stivers, Belmont at Thurgood Marshall, and Meadowdale at Ponitz.

We welcome fans back on Saturday, January 9, and look forward to a safe and orderly conclusion to the season.
