Due to inclement weather, all Dayton Public Schools afternoon preschool and all afternoon/evening activities, including scheduled sports, are canceled for Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017.

All Dayton Public Schools bus drivers will begin their afternoon dismissal routes a half-hour earlier than normally scheduled in an effort to get all students home safely and on time. The earlier route start times will allow drivers to better navigate any traffic issues that arise during a second round of snowfall predicted to begin at dismissal time between 2 and 3 p.m.
