Tyler Johnson is nominated for JJHuddle/Bucknuts athlete of the week

WHAT: Tyler Johnson is a finalist for the JJ Huddle/Bucknuts Ohio High School Boys and Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Week Award. The award is decided by fan vote. Voting ends Monday, June 13 at noon, so click to vote now and as often as possible. Share the link with family, friends and co-workers. Voters must register for free on the site, but let’s help Tyler receive an honor he so rightly deserves.

INFO: Tyler Johnson is a finalist for the JJHuddle/Bucknuts Ohio High School Athlete of the Week Award. Voters can choose from a field of seven athletes, including Tyler. So, vote now and vote often for the Stivers School of Arts graduate. Winners will be announced on the JJHuddle.com website Monday afternoon, June 13. Each winner will receive a personalized award.
Tyler competed at the 2016 OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) Division II Track and Field Championships at Ohio State University’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus on June 4. He claimed the state championship in the 200 and 400 meter dashes. His time for the 400m, 46.61 seconds, is a new state meet record. He ran the 200m with a time of 21.55 seconds. He also took second place in the 100m dash with a time of 10.78 seconds. Congratulations Tyler on a successful high school career.
