DPS students put their scientific findings on display for judging
The annual Science/Technology and Invention Fair showcases DPS students’ scientific hypotheses and results. All DPS schools have submitted student entries and beginning at 9 a.m., their science projects will be judged by each grade level. The distribution of ribbons for winning entries for Pre-K and Division I-III will begin at 12:45 p.m.; Divisions IV-VI will begin at 1:15 p.m.

Every project must follow a scientific method within strict guidelines. Categories include biochemistry, botany, computer science, earth and space sciences, among others. Students must be prepared to present their projects to the judges and discuss their findings. Entries that earn a “superior” rating will qualify to compete regionally at Central State University on March 23, 2019.
