Many DPS employees will be receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, February 4th and Friday, February 5th. 

Students Off Thursday, February 4th

Students who attend Edwin Joel Brown; Ponitz; Fairview; Meadowdale; Thurgood; Rosa Parks; Dayton Digital; Mound Street; Edison; Wogaman; Valerie; Westwood; Charity Adams; Belle Haven; Louise Troy; and Dunbar will be OFF Thursday, February 4th because their teachers will be receiving the vaccine. 

Staff should report as usual; please note that this a teacher work day. 

Students will resume class online at their normal start time on Friday, February 5th.

Students Off Friday, February 5th

Students who attend Ruskin; Kiser; Horace Mann; River’s Edge; Wright Brothers; Kemp; Roosevelt; Cleveland; Belmont; Stivers; and Eastmont will be OFF Friday, February 5th because their teachers will be receiving the vaccine.
