UD students to share reading time with DPS students    

WHO:    University of Dayton Social Justice Club President Ethan McNemar
               Edison Principal Basharus Simmons  
               Social Justice Club members
               Edison PreK-6 School students and staff
        
WHAT:          The UD Social Justice Club will donate 800 books to students and teachers. The college undergraduates will then sit down to read with the younger students, and share some cookies and milk.

WHEN:          Thursday, Dec.8, 2016
                        8:45 a.m. until 11 a.m.

WHERE:       Edison PreK-6 School
                       228 N. Broadway St.

INFO:             Each second and third grade student will receive two books to celebrate the holidays, along with a bookmark and University of Dayton wristband. Their teachers will receive $50 worth of books for their classrooms from the social club’s community partner, Dollar Book Swap.
