Belmont High School held a special event to celebrate seniors last week. While maintaining a safe distance, seniors received their cap and gown, a DPS senior yard sign and also signed a commemorate chair to remember the Class of 2020.

Students maintained a six-foot distance from one another as they walked across the sidewalk in a ceremonial procession. Dr. Donetrus Hill, Principal of Belmont, said the long walk was a very intentional part of the event to allow seniors to experience what they normally would while walking across a stage at graduation.
