Dayton Public Schools families will ride for free by showing a DPS student ID or most recent student report card.

Beginning Wednesday, April 15th, RTA will be providing free transportation for families to obtain food from DPS food distribution sites between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Seven RTA routes will allow families to be dropped off at the RTA bus stop closest to the distribution site of their choice. Families should pull the yellow stop cord to let the driver know where they need off. Families may ride for free if students show the driver a DPS student ID or their most recent report card.

DPS food distribution takes place each Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. Until further notice, RTA will be providing this transportation each Wednesday.

Distribution sites include: Rosa Parks Early Learning Center, Kiser Elementary, Ruskin Elementary, Westwood Elementary, Louise Troy Elementary, Wright Brothers Middle School, Edwin Joel Brown Middle School and Belmont High School.

Please note: DPS families may ride any RTA route for free between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. to get to a DPS food distribution site. The seven routes provided in the interactive map simply show which routes go near each distribution site.
