For Immediate Release

The Dayton Public Schools Human Resources Department has been busy this summer hiring a number of new administrators and more than 160 new classroom teachers to begin the 2016-17 school year. Progress has been good, but the district is still looking for 18 intervention specialists to work with special needs students in grades seven through 12.
HR Executive Director Judith Spurlock says the department will work with interested individuals who hold a teaching license in any area and help them obtain the supplemental teaching license required to become an intervention specialist.
Those interested may submit a resume to the HR department at 115 S. Ludlow St., Dayton, OH 45402, or log on to the Dayton Area Consortium at www.daytonareaschooljobs.esu.k12.oh.us/.
Hiring and maintaining a high-quality faculty and staff is a major goal for Dayton Public Schools, as the district works to become an employer of choice for the best teachers and staff
