WHAT:    2016 Dayton Public Schools Convocation to kick off the new school year

WHEN:    9 a.m.

WHERE:    University of Dayton Arena

INFO:  Superintendent Corr will speak to an estimated 2,000 Dayton Public Schools employees and special guests about the FOCUS that will turn DPS around academically. This annual event serves as the kick-off to the new school year, which begins for students Aug. 16.

    After DPS staff gather at UD Arena to hear the superintendent’s charge for the new school year, they will spend the remainder of their day on professional development at their respective buildings and departments.
