DPS is spotlighting Andre Stroud-Thomas, head custodian at Kiser Elementary!
Mr. Stroud has been in this position for four years and has been with the district for 7 years. Before he took on this role, he worked in Transportation as a paraprofessional.
He said the best part about his job is working with students and watching them grow.
“As we all know, it takes a village to raise a child,” he said. “We have some great kids that are eager to learn in a safe, clean environment.”
Mr. Stroud’s nominator said because of him, the building is always clean and ready for students, and that he is always very pleasant and caring toward all who enter the school.
