The Dayton Board of Education voted yesterday to non-renew the contracts of Treasurer Craig Jones and Superintendent Lori Ward, in compliance with statutory deadlines outlined in the Ohio Revised Code. This procedural action allows the board to negotiate new contracts focused on increased accountability, measurable professional outcomes and best practices in the field of K12 education. This Board is committed to improving and modernizing our schools.
