DPS spotlights Associate Director of Nutrition Services, Jamie Holster!
Jamie has been the Associate Director of Nutrition Services for 10 years and has been with DPS for a total of 17 years. Her day-to-day responsibilities consist of supervising 5 high schools and 9 elementary schools.
“I love interacting with people, helping smooth out concerns and bringing a smile to students, staff and administrators,” Jamie said. “There is never a dull day in food service!”
She said she is proud of her department for its dedication to serving students. Her nominator said she gives her managers and food preparers the support they need and reminds them how important they are to students. Additionally, her nominator said she is appreciated by everyone in the department for always going above and beyond the call of duty.
At the end of the school year, Jamie will be retiring. She said it has been an honor and privilege to work at DPS and she will miss everyone and everything about the district!
