Men of Color to meet with DPS students

     Dayton Public Schools is teaming up with Dayton’s Men of Color for the third annual Men of Color Go Back to School event. A reception at the RTA Cultural Center, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, kicked off the two-day event. African-American community leaders and volunteers will visit several DPS schools, Wednesday, Nov. 2, beginning at 8 a.m., to share their life experiences and build positive relationships with students. This year’s event was coordinated through the new DPS Office for Males of Color, designed to increase academic performance and attendance among male students of color.
